I was just thinking now that Marti as a new album out Devil And The Monkey...Although there is only a soft release of this for fans....I was wondering would Marti actually do his own tour for this album.... I suppose just have to wait and see as Marti also as other things lined up.....Marti is full of surprises - Never knew anything about the George and Marti tour until Marti came to Milton Keynes back in January and that came as a complete surprise.....

I am happy in what ever Marti does!!!!

I think Marti did say something about putting another album out in a couple of months in yesterday's BBC Radio Ulster interview with Gerry Kelly - I wondered if there might be a tour with that.

I think we were told a while ago that Marti was releasing an acoustic album and another album but I'm a bit confused now because I thought that Winter Across Her Brow was supposed to be on the acoustic album.

I think it's a bit much to be expecting another tour when one has only just finished! Marti has hardly stopped in the last few years and everyone needs to be patient. We already get so much!

Originally King Of Yesterday was the working title of an acoustic album which was to include Winter Across Her Brow, Marti obviously changed his mind about the type of album he wanted to put out. The other album mentioned at that time was Boulevard Of Life which as far as I know, will be his next major release. I do believe that as Marti is such a prolific song writer, he would like to release albums like DATM in between his major releases.

Thanks, Lynn - that makes it a bit clearer. I must admit, it would be a surprise (although obviously a nice surprise!) to see Marti touring again so soon after this one.

I suppose Marti deserves a rest, he has been there for us quite a lot. My mate at work she is a Duran Duran fan and the last tour was 2005. She misses his music.
I believe we are very fortunate that Marti does a lot - musicals, records and other venues. So we are very lucky

Maybe a little of the topic now, but in response to you coments Theresa....

I agree, Marti has spoilt us and continues to do so and I'm so gratefull for being spoilt - rather nice to say the least - not only by having -always- a fantastic night out, its been a great pleasure to visit cities and towns I may possibly of not had the pleasure of knowing and enjoying a great hotel or two... its a lovely feeling to be spoilt xx
